This month we’re proud to recognize Dan McCarthy of Wauzeka, Wisconsin as our Archer of the Month. Dan is a seasoned pro whose passion for archery has shaped his life on the range and in competition for decades.

Dan’s competitive résumé speaks for itself. A longtime standout in the ASA circuit, he’s earned multiple Shooter of the Year titles and collected numerous event wins throughout his career. His success isn’t limited to outdoor competition — Dan has also posted strong performances indoors, stepping onto the podium at multiple indoor archery tournaments over the years.

Beyond the numbers, Dan’s impact on the archery community runs deeper. As a mentor, teammate, and ambassador of the sport, he’s always willing to share knowledge, support fellow shooters, and celebrate the growth of archery in Wisconsin and beyond. He and his wife, Emily McCarthy — a professional archer in her own right — are a true archery duo, living and breathing the sport while helping inspire others.

From competitive excellence to community influence, Dan McCarthy represents the best of Wisconsin archery. We’re honored to name him WI Archery’s Archer of the Month for February 2026.
