Dominick Roper has been around archery for as long as he can remember—starting with a bow in his hand at just four years old. While he first tried his hand at target archery through NASP in sixth grade, it wasn’t until years later that his competitive drive really kicked in.

In 2022, Dominick entered his first tournament during the indoor season at the Vegas Shoot hosted by Hunters Edge—and came out with a win in the 18 and under division. That victory lit a fire, and he’s been chasing competitive success ever since.

Dominick joined the Hunters Edge S3DA team shortly after and continued shooting with them until he aged out of the program. Since then, he’s gone on to compete at top national events like The Vegas Shoot, Lancaster Archery Classic, and ASA tournaments, while also staying active in Wisconsin’s local scene—frequently shooting in the N.E.W. Tour, HHAUSA Mission shoots, King Archers events, and more.

These days, Dominick is not only a competitive archer but also a bow technician and staff shooter at Hunters Edge Archery. His passion for the sport and commitment to the community make him a great example of what WI Archery is all about.
