May 2026
archer of the month
Elliot Heath

For May 2026, we’re proud to recognize Elliot Heath as our Archer of the Month—a lifelong archer whose dedication to the sport spans decades both on and off the range.
Elliot serves as the manager of Hunter’s Edge Archery in Green Bay, working alongside his brother Eddie and father Dave. Since opening its doors in 1989, the shop has become a cornerstone of the local archery community. While many see the finished product—a well-run shop and successful events—Elliot knows firsthand the behind-the-scenes grind. From managing inventory and paying bills to organizing packed events and even cleaning the shop, his role leaves little time for practice. Still, his passion for archery never fades.
With over 35 years of competitive experience, Elliot has shot in countless local events, picking up a few wins along the way. More importantly, he’s built lifelong friendships through the sport. One of those is with his longtime shooting partner, Tom Dagit, who continues to push Elliot to improve every time they step to the line.

Today, one of Elliot’s greatest joys in archery is sharing it with his 8-year-old daughter, Amelia. Watching her compete in S3DA events over the past two years has given him a new perspective on the sport. Like many archery parents know, there’s nothing quite like seeing your child step up and shoot.
Outside of target archery, Elliot has a deep passion for hunting. He’s harvested over 20 Canadian black bears and regularly hosts DIY hunts in Ontario with friends and family—including his dad, brother, and sister. Fall also means chasing Midwest whitetails with Eddie and Davey, while spring brings one of his favorite traditions: shed hunting trips with his dad, which he admits he might enjoy even more than the hunt itself.
When he’s not in the shop, on the range, or in the woods, Elliot is pounding pavement. An accomplished distance runner, he has completed over 40 marathons since 2017, including the Chicago Marathon, New York City Marathon, and Boston Marathon. With plans to run Berlin in 2026, Tokyo in 2027, and London in 2028, he’s well on his way to completing the prestigious Abbott World Marathon Majors Six Star journey.
Whether it’s behind the counter, on the shooting line, in the woods, or on the road, Elliot embodies what it means to live and breathe archery. Congratulations, Elliot—we’re proud to have you as our Archer of the Month.
Know someone who deserves the spotlight? We’re looking for archers of all ages and skill levels who are passionate about the sport, and make a positive impact in the archery community.
