DESCRIPTION:CREX MEADOWS YOUTH HUNT & FISH CAMP\nMonday\, August 10\, 2026\, 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. Tuesday\, August 11\, 2026\, 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. Wednesday\, August 12\, 2026\, 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.\n\n\n\n\nDESCRIPTION\n  \nYouth aged 10-13 are invited to join us for a day camp focusing on hunting and fishing basics! Kids will have the opportunity to learn to shoot a bow\, learn to set up a fishing rod\, and learn some of the basics of firearm safety. \n*Please note that this does NOT count as an official Hunter Education Course. \n\nThe first 2 days of camp will be hosted at the Crex Meadows Wildlife Education & Visitor Center at 102 E Crex Ave\, Grantsburg.\nThe third\, and final\, day of camp will be hosted at Memory Lake Park in downtown Grantsburg.\n\n***Parents will need to drop off AND pick up kids at Memory Lake Park on Day 3. \n*** Kids will be allowed to bring their own fishing equipment on Day 3\, if they have their own. \nRSVP Required \nThis event is weather-dependent. \nGroup/Program Hosting: DNR Wildlife and Friends of Crex\nProperty & Event Location: Crex Meadows State Wildlife Area\, 102 E Crex Ave Grantsburg\, WI 54840\nEvent Contact: Lauren Thomas\, lauren.finch@wisconsin.gov\, 715-641-0406
